About Architektur
Architektur is a small architectural practice specializing in bespoke residential design.
Scott Fowler has been the Director of Architektur for the last 20 years. Prior to that, he has worked in architecture since graduating in the late 80’s. That’s almost 4 decades of experience in the industry, both in New Zealand and overseas.
In that time, Scott has made many contacts with consultants in the building world that he can highly recommend to clients. He also completed a Masters Degree in Urban Design, and was a developer for a period of time. Both experiences gave him a much deeper understanding of the industry.
Nowdays Scott prefers to do what he’s best at – which is making his clients architectural dreams come true. Working with his clients in a very personal and ‘hands-on’ manner. This way nothing gets ‘lost in translation’ as it can be when multiple staff are involved in larger architectural practices, with larger overheads.
Scott’s work has been celebrate in a number of books and magazines in New Zealand and abroad. Being a small NZ owned business means Scott values the personal touch, and looks forward to meeting you to discuss your inspirations and aspirations for your project.
